THE BODY
” While working on this piece, I streamed the entire process Live (over the course of months). I Set up in front of mirror to use as a reference. After finishing the Body, I wanted her to have a more ‘ethereal feel’ additional to her aura glow ; which is funny considering the ‘Original Anonymous Artist’ is about as ethereal as it gets.
I was Inspired by the ‘wet look’, the fabric draped over the body parallels reality’s perception of ‘the feminine figure’. No matter what you are wearing, no matter your age, what you post online, wether you want the attention or you do not- the feminine figure is seen. No matter how invisible you want to be, you will be perceived.
The art , is manipulating the perception to work in your favor. “
